The Arc of San Angelo hosts several fund raising and outreach events throughout the year in order to help raise awareness in our community as well as provide services to families living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Some of our events, like the Walk for Autism, Sensory Santa, and ThAUTful Theatre, are reoccuring but we also host one-off events throughout the year. Check back often or follow us on facebook for all the latest updates.

8:30AM - 11:00AM
Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial Riverstage

The AACV Walk for Autism is our biggest community event, and only major fundraiser. Participants are encouraged to form teams, recruit members, set fund raising goals, and rally together to raise money for a great cause.
On Walk Day, we have a host of activities and sensory-friendly family fun. Walkers can visit our resource fair to get information and make valuable connections with the autism resources available right here in West Texas.
Help us make 2020 our biggest walk ever. Your efforts and support truly matter and every cent that we raise will be spent on supporting those with autism in the San Angelo area.

Sensory Santa 2019
Check back in October for specific date/time/location
Sensory Santa is a holiday event developed specifically to meet the needs of families affected by Autism and other sensory challenges. We work to eliminate long lines, reduce noise levels, and promote the comfort of each child. Children and their families will be able to take a picture with Santa in creative and sensory friendly ways to produce the perfect keepsake holiday photo.
We love getting to be a part of many cherished holiday memories, so stick around after your photo session to take advantage of our craft and activity stations.
The whole experience and CD of photos costs only $25 for families, and leaves everyone with priceless memories.
Please check back here in October 2019 and like our Facebook page for details and the date of Sensory Santa 2019.
